Well it's my first holiday and I have managed to get a lovely head cold, runny nose and all! Although Im sick I still plan on doing a bit of traveling, Yesterday was amazing because Thornbury Park,Sabine and I all went to BATH!!! We woke up about 8:30 Sunday morning and about 9:00 loaded ourselves in the very cute white mini bus that is owned by the school. We then drove about 45min or so through beautiful sunny countryside till Peter Stevenson (Thronbury parks house father, and a very lovely man as well) said "look out the window everyone and welcome to Bath!" We all looked out to see a beautiful city settled nicely in the river valley of Avon, it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen! So mum its official we need to get very rich and move there!!! I fell in love with all of it, it was the most beautiful day blue sky and sun!
I felt like someone had dropped me in the 1800's, we spent most of the day wondering the old streets taking pictures and laughing about all the large flashy red tour buses people had loaded themselves on for what they consider a "tour"!
Then me and Himonie split from the group to grab some lunch and sit in the beautiful Parade park that sat on the river Avon! Then we headed up to the famouse Bath Abby to look around, it was buitl in 1499! This was so amazing, a must see if you ever go to Bath!
It really was a magical day and one I will not forget!
So although Im blowing my nose ever two minutes, and I feel very groggy, Bath was worth it!
So I have two weeks to relax, have fun and see some some sights of jolly old England!
I miss you al very much and wish that you were here to see all of this with me,
Cheers,
Ilaria

Such beautiful photos, I'm jealous!
It's wonderful to see your beautiful face. You look wonderful.
I'm sorry you have a cold, no doubt you are exhausted from your first 5 weeks of work. Get lots of rest and it will clear up. Drink water!
I love you and let us know about any new adventures these next two weeks. It's so exciting to see things that you are seeing, even if they are just photos.
XO,
Mum
Dear Ilaria,
How great to continue to receive these wonderful pictures and messages! Your mum is great about letting us know when a new one has ben posted. Bath is beautiful!! And it has been great to see pictures of some of your co-workers! What a fabulous experience you must be having!
Grandpa and I continue to look forward to being with you and seeing the sights you have seen. This week he and Darcy are going to Oregon to do several presentations about Journeys and to raise money for the "campaign" we are currently in. In 6 weeks we (the Journeys Board and fundraising committee) hope to raise $50,000 so we have our work cut out for us!!
What are you hungry for? Or what do you need from here? We can send the next care package! I'll see if the Januto girls can send some pictures along with items from others of the family!
I hope your cold is of short duration. I find that often I keep pushing and when I have a chance to let down a little, that's when the colds hit. Perhaps that has been your situation as you have been making many transitions and adjustments!
We love you a lot and think of you often even if we don't write so often.
Hugs and Kisses,
Grandma Carol
Beautiful Kiddo! Loved talking with you today. I'll work on getting you some pictures and a letter. I'll nudge grandma and the rest of the family to do likewise.
Love You!
Daddy C
When you said you were going to bath I thought you were going to take a bath. Nice pictures. I have a cold to.
Love Uncle Chris
Hi Ilaria,
I have a cold too! We have not had school four days, so I don't have to miss school with my cold.
Right now we are watching Hero's. Reiko really likes it. She had never heard of it before coming here and now she says it is very famous in Japan.
Just wanted to tell you hello. I'm going to be a Kissing Booth for Halloween.
Love,
Mason
Hi lovely,
You look happy and healthy in your photos. I am glad that this trip has worked out so great. It seems like you have been gone longer than you have. After seeing your photo with your friends I realize that I miss seeing that beautiful face in person. Thanks for the postcard. Please give me a call sometime. Love to hear your voice. We love YOU!!
Karyn
